Candace Cameron Bure’s Daughter Natasha Bure Reveals She Still Has Nightmares About Her Voice Audition
View Date:2024-12-23 19:24:40
Everywhere she looks, Natasha Bure can’t forget this cringeworthy moment.
Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter recently detailed her 2016 audition for The Voice—which featured Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Adam Levine as judges—and revealed how mortified she is looking back.
“I have nightmares about it,” she admitted on the The Sit and Chat podcast with Jake Short and Bradley Steven Perry July 25. “I hated it. Adam Levine turned in the first maybe 10 seconds of singing and then the rest of the song I could not have sounded worse—like actually. It was really unfortunate.”
And when Bradley—whom Natasha is currently dating—joked, “Did he turn the chair back around?” Natasha deadpanned back, “He should’ve.”
For her 2016 audition, the 25-year-old performed a rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help But Falling in Love” with the support of the Full House alum and the rest of her family—including father Valeri Bure and younger brothers Lev, 24, and Maksim, 22.
And while Natasha looks back at the moment in a bad light, she moved on to the Battle Rounds of the singing competition show before being sent home by the Maroon 5 frontman in favor of fellow competitor Riley Elmore.
At the time, Natasha also earned the support of her mom’s longtime costars Bob Saget and John Stamos, who sent her a video message on social media.
“Natasha, we heard you’re auditioning for The Voice, and we’re rooting for you,” Bob said, before John added, “We know you’re going to do great, Natasha. We wish you the best—we’re rooting for you.”
As for how Candace herself felt about her daughter’s experience on the show? She was her daughter’s number one fan.
“She’s doing an awesome job,” Candace said in an Instagram video at the time. “I’m so proud of her. I won’t start talking because I’ll probably cry because I’m emotional because I’m just super proud."

When Natasha auditioned for the Voice in 2016, her mom supported her on Instagram.
"She’s doing an awesome job,” Candace said in 2016 Instagram video. “I’m so proud of her. I won’t start talking because I’ll probably cry because I’m emotional because I’m just super proud.”
Natasha is very close with her family, and has previously referred to them as her "world" on social media.
In another social media post, she poked fun at her and her brothers' similarities to their parents, writing, "My parents rly said copy and paste."
